Owen Dyson
Hello FCE Flippers!
My name is Owen Dyson, and I’m beyond excited to be your head coach this summer! Swimming has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started as soon as I could walk and competed with the Mason Makos club team throughout middle and high school. I’m currently a Division 1 swimmer and team captain at Monmouth University, where I’m working toward my Master’s degree in Finance.
Before joining FCE, I spent two summers as an assistant coach at Lakevale Estates, where I worked closely with swimmers of all ages and skill levels. I also have extensive experience giving private lessons, helping young swimmers refine their technique and build confidence in the water. My goal is to create a fun and energetic environment while helping each swimmer improve, whether it’s learning a new stroke, dropping time, or just growing their love for the sport.
Outside the pool, I enjoy lifting, trying out any sport I can, and watching great movies. I can’t wait to meet all of you and get this season started. Let’s make it a summer to remember!

Miles Lasmanis
Hey Flippers!
My name is Miles Lasmanis and I am very excited to be the assistant coach this summer! I am going into my second year at University of Virginia and majoring in Aerospace Engineering. I have been a swimmer since I was nine, and have swam on the flippers for nine years. I swam competitively on the Fairfax Foxes club team, and the Robinson Swim and dive team throughout high school. I currently swim on the UVA club swim team, and I am looking forward to a great season and getting to meet every one of you, Go Flippers!
