FCE Flippers 2025 registration is LIVE.
Hello Flipper Families!
We are excited to share that registration for swim season 2025 is live!
We will continue to use Swimtopia as our website and for many returning families - much of the info is already populated. Please be sure to use the link to register. https://fceflippers.
If you encounter any problems or have any questions, please let us know by email or phone. If you are not a member of the FCE HOA then you need to please pay your summer dues first to the HOA. This is the link to join the pool: https://fcepoolandtennis.org
Rates for this year: * $150 per team swimmer with a family cap of $450 (includes a team t-shirt if you register by May 20th - different color from last year.
* $90 per mini-Flipper
We will accept credit cards (be aware that there is a processing fee) or check. If you prefer to pay by check, you can drop off payment to Heidi at 10805 James Halley Dr. She will have an envelope inside the storm door labeled "FCE Flippers".
Practice: Please look carefully at the website for practice days and times.
Team Suits: We will be using the same team suit from last year (navy with white Flippers logo). The suit is not required to participate in meets but as you may have experienced before - most of the team wears the suit. Please have your swimmer look for last years suit and try it on. Everyone has most likely grown since last summer so you may need to purchase a new one. The link to the suit information is on our website. Please be sure to first go to Suit Up, located at University Mall to make sure that you order the correct size. Since we have a team logo on the suits you will not be able to return the suit once it's purchased.
Swim Caps: We will be selling those at a later date. We are requiring that all swimmers use caps for A meets.
Accommodations: If any swimmer has specific accommodations regarding the suit or cap expectations, please reach out. We are more than happy to support each and every swimmer but we do need parents to communicate with us prior to the start of the season.
Volunteering: Just a reminder that parent volunteering is expected and there is a role for everyone. There are a number of families with older swimmers and these parents have volunteered for many years.
A number of families will have swimmers age out within the next couple years and that means parents who have served as Officials will be moving on.
We will be looking out for younger families to step up to learn some of these roles so that when the families age out - it should be a seamless transition. Some roles require additional training prior to the swim season starting. If you are interested in any of the Official roles - please reach out to us.
Officials - For families that have been a part of the swim team for at least 2 seasons - we are asking that at least one parent consider attending (one of the many) official clinics. For those interested - we would suggest starting out attending the 2 hour in-person training for Stroke and Turn Judges. We have a small but mighty team of Officials and it would benefit any new S/T to shadow our current Officials.
Please see the attached info from NVSL regarding dates for Official clinics.
We look forward to forming the team now that registration is live.
Over the next few weeks you will be hearing from us regarding the season, parent involvement/volunteer requirements and schedule.
