Happy 2026 Flipper Families!

While it may not feel like swim season with snow on the ground, summer will be here before we know it—and we’re already gearing up for another fantastic season with the FCE Flippers!

First, Brooke and I would like to extend our sincere thanks to Sarah and Heidi for their outstanding leadership over the past several years. Their dedication, organization, and heart for the team have meant so much to our swimmers and families. We have big shoes to fill, and we’re excited to build on the strong foundation they created.

We have a few exciting updates to share:

Coaching Staff
We’re thrilled to welcome back Owen Dyson as Head Coach and Miles Lasmanis as Assistant Coach. Their energy, experience, and connection with our swimmers make them an incredible leadership team, and we’re looking forward to another great summer under their guidance.

Division Placement
This year we’ll be competing in Division 11 alongside Camelot, Mosby Woods, Shouse Village, Great Falls, and Truro. It looks to be a fun and competitive division, and we’re excited for a season full of great meets and sportsmanship.

New This Year – Deck Managers for B Meets
We plan to introduce Deck Managers for B meets this season. This is a wonderful opportunity for our high school swimmers to earn service hours while supporting younger teammates and helping meets run smoothly. We’ll share more details about responsibilities and sign-ups after registration opens.

Team Swimsuit
Our 2026 team suit will remain the same as last year. SuitUp at University Mall is ready to accept orders—please see the attached flyer for details if you need to purchase a new suit. Orders should be placed by June 1st for best availability. Suits with a custom team logo are final sale and cannot be exchanged or returned, therefore we recommend you try on your suit at SuitUp before purchasing.

Spirit Wear
We’re also working on organizing a spirit wear order. More information will be shared once details are finalized.

We anticipate opening registration in April, so please keep an eye out for additional information in the coming weeks. If you know of any new families who may be interested in joining the Flippers, please pass along this information or direct them to contact us.
