Hi Flipper Families!

It’s time to kick off another great summer—registration for the 2026 Flippers season is now open on our website! We’re excited to welcome returning swimmers and new families for another fun and competitive season.

To celebrate the start of the season and get everyone in the summer spirit, we’re hosting a team fundraiser at Five Guys:

Five Guys (5761 Burke Centre Pkwy)
March 26
4:00–8:00 PM

Five Guys will donate 20% of all purchases during that time to the team. Come grab dinner, reconnect with teammates, and help support the Flippers!

A Few Important Notes for the 2026 Season

Team Fees
Due to increased league costs this year, team fees have been adjusted:

• Flippers: $160 per swimmer ($480 family max)
• Mini-Flippers: $100 per swimmer

NVSL Meet Software Change
The NVSL is transitioning from the HyTek meet management system to SwimTopia. This new platform is designed to simplify and automate meet operations, making things easier for volunteers and families alike. We’ve also heard excellent feedback about both the system and the customer support. As part of this transition, our financial obligation to NVSL has increased, which contributed to the fee adjustment.

Season Schedule Update
Because Fairfax County Public Schools adjusted the last day of school, the NVSL season will start and end one week later than in previous years. Please note the key dates:

• Practices begin: Tuesday after Memorial Day
• First “A” Meet: June 20
• Divisionals: July 25
• Individual All-Stars: August 1

Please keep these dates in mind as you plan your summer schedules.
